Mark is in his second year as Chairman of the Variety – The Children’s Charity. He is Chief Executive Officer of Parks Victoria and has been on the Variety Board of Management for 8 years.

Rod is the State Emergency Response Officer with Victoria Police and heads up Emergency Management Coordination throughout the State, he was awarded the Australian Police Medal for his work with police and charities. He has been on the Variety Board of Management for 9 years.

Director and Chairman of Life Education Victoria. Formally Group Administration Manager and Chief Accountant for Budget Rent a Car Corporation for 13 Years ago, Paul obtained his first Budget franchise in 1986 and now represents the largest franchise holder within the Budget System in Australia. He is Chairman of the Budget licensee Council and has an active involvement in 2 orphanages in Bali. An avid basher since 2000. He joined the Board of Management in 2006.

Doug was Chairman from May 2003 to November 2006. He is Managing Director of the marketing, communications and media company Focus Communications Group. Doug is also Deputy Chairman of Life Education Victoria and is an Australia Day Ambassador. He has been on the Variety Board of Management for 8 years.

Mark is a Director of the private detective agency Victorian Detective Services. He also sits on several boards, including the Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation. He has been on the Variety Board of Management for 4 years.

Mike has continued his commitment to the Vic Bash as a fundraising participant and a performer at the final night concert, with his team taking the prestigious award of Overall Winners, the highest accolade on the Bash. Once again we thank Mike for his performance at the Great Grand Final Luncheon and warmly congratulate him on his appointment as a Variety Life Member. He joined this Board of Management this year.

Graeme is Managing Director of body corporate property managers Bodycorp (Aust) and has been involved with the Variety Vic Bash for the last ten years. He has been on the Variety Board of Management for 2 years.
 

Peter is an action packed supporter of Young Variety. By day his engagements include TV presenter and MC host just to name a few. He joined the board this year.

Sharon has been actively involved in various community organisations since leaving the ASX and now has brought her expertise to Variety and the Variety@Work area. She has been on the Board of Management for 2 years.

Board Member Sue is an active supporter of the Suits Club, participated in the Official Start of the Vic Bash, and joined the Ladies of Variety fundraising group. She contributes her time to Variety events and was a willing participant in the Biba Hair Academy fundraiser which donated all proceeds to Variety. She joined the Board of Management in 2006. 

Board Member Daryl started WTFN in 2001 after nearly 20 years working as a news reporter and producer for network television in Australia and the UK. Under his leadership WTFN has grown to be one of Australia's most dynamic independent television production companies. He orchestrates the production of hundreds of hours of factual and light entertainment programs for Australia's three commercial networks. He joined the Board of Management this year.

Vito Interlandi is a Director of Business Advisory Services. He has more than 15 years professional practice experience, following a successful career in industry. Vito has a specialised interest in business development and the strategic impact of taxation on day-to-day decisions.

Originally trained as a teacher working both overseas and in Australia with Special Needs Children. Gillian then turned her interests to Publishing and launched Copeland Publishing and the development of Sydney’s child. This has grown to a National Newspaper business with 6 parenting titles and a national circulation of over 465,000 papers per month. Gillian brings to the board not only a wealth of Marketing and Public relations knowledge but also an insight through her teaching of the short and long terms needs of children.
