The Friends of Variety program encourages individuals and corporates to donate annually, assisting Variety to help more children with a renewable and reliable source of income. New and renewing Friends are welcome.

The History of Friendship
The Friends of Variety program is ideal for people who care about Australia’s special children and wish to improve children’s lives through a regular and reliable donation to help continue our important support services.

By becoming a Friend of Variety you are also becoming a friend to a child in need and will make an active and long-lasting contribution to the children in our community who are physically and socially disadvantaged.

The Friends of Variety program offers you the chance to give Special Needs Children the chance to improve their quality of life. Your annual contribution of $240 will go the Variety Freedom Program, which provides equipment for mobility, communication and life experiences.

Our Friends will receive regular updates through newsletters, plus an invitation to attend a formal presentation of Grant. A Friends of Variety contribution is tax-deductible and an efficient way of demonstrating your support. As donations are debited directly from a credit card or bank account, only one annual receipt is produced so administrative costs are kept to a minimum. This means your donation has greater impact where it is needed most.

You will be helping people like Noah Callan, who suffered a lack of oxygen to the brain at birth causing cerebral palsy. In 2007 Noah received a new motorized wheelchair from Variety. Attaching his DynaVox speech machine to the wheelchair, Noah is now able to move independently and communicate with loved ones and those around him.
