Sunshine Coaches
As well as assisting schools with equipment on an as need basis, Variety recognised the need for these schools now have for adequate transport. Extra students from fire affected schools not only need transport to new facilities but also need access to services and events outside of their towns. Variety have provided four of our Sunshine Coaches thus far, utilising the $100,000 donation from The Shane Warne Foundation. These recipients include Wallan Secondary School, Chum Creek Primary School which was damaged in the fires and had no transport, Marysville Primary School which was destroyed and a shared coach for schools in the Kinglake area.
