Ambulance Victoria Membership vs. Private Health Insurance Ambulance Coverage

There are gaps and different interpretations of ambulance coverage in Private Health Insurance Policies. It is recommended to investigate these potential limitations with your providers, but Ambulance Victoria Membership is the only sure fire way to ensure you are 100% covered 365 days of the year*. Having any level of coverage through your Private Heath Funds is not being a member of Ambulance Victoria.

Ambulance Victoria Membership covers you for:
• All Emergency Ambulance transport
• All MICA (Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance) attendance and/or treatment
• All Air Ambulance transport
• All Ambulance treatment when transport is not required
• All Non-emergency patient transport* including:
o From hospital to home and home to hospital
o From hospital or home to treatment facilities and return
o Inter-hospital transport between private hospitals
• All Ambulance transport and treatment services provided by interstate Ambulance services**
