In 2005 Variety the children’s charity launched an amazing off-road adventure to Far North Queensland. It was so successful that almost all of the participants registered for the following year without even knowing the itinerary!
In 2010 the Outback Adventure will travelling the length of Western Australia - traversing brilliant white beaches, outback towns and historical sites. Famous for it's long days of sunshine and natural attractions this will be an adventure not to be missed.
Of course, the Outback Adventure is renown for it's unique activities and outback luxury. In 2010 activities include:-
- A high speed jet boat ride on the Horizontal Waterfalls near Broome
- Swimming with the whale sharks
- Feeding the dolphins at Monkey Mia
- Entertainment from Darryl Cotton, Wendy Stapleton and Ashleigh Robinson
- A flying visit to Abroholos Islands
- Sunset sailing
- A stay at the old Benedictine Monastry
and much more!
Why is the ‘Outback Adventure’ so special? Because:
• Best accommodation available.
• The limit is 15 vehicles.
• Only late model, luxury 4WD vehicles are supplied.
• There is a maximum of 4 people per vehicle.
• A one-off cost will cover return flights from your nearest capital city to Darwin, entry fee and donation to Variety, use of the vehicle, basic vehicle insurance (additional is at your discretion), accommodation,meals, entertainment, sightseeing and specially branded clothing.
• You will see a side of the Northern Territory and Queensland that most of us have never seen
The cost per vehicle covers pretty much everything – flights, vehicle hire and insurance, meals, accommodation, entertainment, clothing pack, and most sightseeing.
To secure your place, we require a deposit of $5,000 per person made payable to Variety the children’s charity, on confirmation
There will be no cancellation fee if written advice is received a minimum of 60 days before the start. Advice received within 30 days will incur a loss of deposit. Otherwise, the full amount will be payable.

In keeping with the ‘Bash’ ethos, the Variety Outback Adventure is not a race. It’s about travelling to remote and beautiful places in style, with friends, who share your love of the great outdoors. You’ll have the added advantage of knowing that your participation will result in Special Needs Children receiving much needed support and respect.
