2009 RADIOTHON
Donate $200 now to give a bike to a disadvataged child
For seven years running Variety 3AW listeners have opened their hearts and wallets to give disadvantaged children the gift of a bike in time for Christmas. A donation of $200 will buy a new bike and helmet for a disadvantaged child at the 2009 Variety 3AW Radiothon. Every donation is welcome and donations of $200 or more will entitle the donor to personally present a bike to a deserving child. This will take place at a series of events throughout Victoria in the lead-up to Christmas. The children concerned are identified by local welfare and support agencies and their names provided to Variety. In 2009 1,120 bikes were donated by the people of Melbourne.
The annual Variety 3AW Radiothon was held on 23 July. Now in its seventh year, the fundraising event is growing from strength to strength.
Special thanks to Andrew McManus Presents who so generously donated Dr.Phil tickets to support the Variety 3AW Radiothon
To our generous donors
