Norm spent 10 years at Australian Airlines before turning to Community Service as his major long term career path. He had nine years as Business Development Manager at St John’s Ambulance and five years as Commercial Enterprises Manager with The Brotherhood of St Lawrence. He also completed an MBA and has been CEO of Variety since May 2000.

Janette has worked in many areas of the music and entertainment industry including TV production and corporate events.  Janette oversees all of our corporate events - developing the Great Grand Final Luncheon, Cup Eve Ball, Heart of Variety Ball - and, more recently - the 4WD Bash.

Julie has a long career in event management producing large corporate and community events. Julie took part in her first Bash last year and is looking forward to the twentieth Vic Bash in 2010.

Elyce began her working life in the Hospitality industry where she worked for 3 years whilst undertaking a Diploma of Tourism & Event Management. Elyce began her Variety life in our Grants department. In 2009 Elyce moved to our Motoring Events area - looking after the Brat's Bash and assisting Julie with Bash administration.

Mark has a Diploma of Hotel Catering & Management from William Angliss College and his previous employment has been in international hotels and banking. He was doing some book keeping for a former Variety accountant and was offered a full time position with the charity. He says the most rewarding part of the job is the smile on a child’s face at any of the numerous functions Variety holds for Special Needs Children.

Siobhan has been at Variety for over eight years.  Originally working in the Motoring Events department, Siobhan has recently returned from maternity leave to support Cam in fundraising and development.
