Become a Volunteer

At the heart of our organisation is PASSION – we love what we do. Often the recognition for our work comes from a simple smile.

We want our work, experiences and challenges to be INFECTIOUS.

To attract people and organisations that trust us with their time, money and resources.

To talk about and give evidence of industry demonstrating our COMMITMENT to making a real difference to the lives of Special Needs Children.

To show LEADERSHIP – by clearly identifying specific needs in the community and then going about facilitating remedies.

By being POSITIVE that we can deliver real, tangible results to the community on behalf of our supporters.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Join Variety as a Volunteer and support the Special Needs Children we assist across Victoria. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a child’s face light up or knowing your contribution will assist in a better life for those less fortunate than yourself.

Variety require assistance at fundraising events, in the office and on outings with children.

TESTIMONIALS
“I was introduced to Variety a few years ago when my husband, Ian was asked to take some Variety children out sailing. He now welcomes being an occasional volunteer himself. It is wonderful to be a volunteer and help young people less fortunate."

"I have been involved as a volunteer in the phone room for the Variety 3AW Radiothon for a few years now and love it! What I enjoy about the whole experience is the fact that so many people are willing to help out on raising money for such a wonderful charity. What really blows me away is the extraordinary generosity of the general public where in today’s hard and expensive times still manage to donate money to enable Variety to present bikes to underprivileged children at Christmas time!”
